Bibb Sheriff's looking for burglary suspect

According to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriffs department, Bibb Sheriffs are looking for one suspect from a robbery over the weekend.

The press release says two female friends of a property owner caught two men taking items from the home and loading them into a red pickup truck. The women had stopped by to check on the home in the 100 block of Marcar Road on Saturday afternoon. They saw two while males, and one of the ladies asked if she could help the two men as one of them, Johney Dillon, approached her. When he asked about the homeowner, she said she was calling the sheriffs and the two men drove away in the truck.

A few minutes later, the truck returned with only Johney Dillon. One of the deputy's heading to the house was stopped by a person and told a red truck was going down Shines Road and someone was throwing items out of the bed. Johney was taken to the Sheriff's office for questioning, then charged with 1 count of First Degree Burglary.

Investigators are still looking for Jeffrey Dillon. If you have any information, call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
