Bibb Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting that left a Macon man shot in both legs. Randy Gonzales of the Bibb Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the 4300 block of Capital Avenue Monday afternoon after a report of a person shot. Lenny Spivey, 32, was found with a gunshot wound at that address and was transported to a local hospital. Spivey's injuries appear to be life threatening. A man believed to be involved in the incident barricaded himself in a duplex on Capital Avenue. A SWAT team responded to the scene and the man exited without incident.
During questioning, Malcolm Darnell Houston, 18 years old, of Macon confessed to shooting Spivey. Houston is charged with 1 count of aggravated assault and 1 count of felony probation violation.
