Macon teenager shot while entering store

Bibb County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a Thursday morning shooting in Macon that sent one teen to the hospital with bullet wounds.

Investigators say 16-year-old Tierance Samples of Macon was shot in the leg and shoulder while walking into Young's Grocery Store on Montpelier Avenue, according to a release. It happened around 1:15 AM.

Samples was taken to a local hospital by paramedics and his condition is listed as stable. No one else was injured in the shooting.
