Victims in west Macon shooting identified | News
Two people were found dead this morning in a car parked behind a west Macon home.
Bibb County Sheriff David Davis said the two victims each had multiple bullet wounds.
He said they're still investigating, but they believe the case is a double homicide.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says they are Arika Jarrell, 23, and Ralph Heard, 32.
Jarrell would have had a birthday next week. Both were from Macon.
It happened at 3365 Fairburn Avenue. That's between Napier Avenue and Log Cabin Drive.
A neigbhbor told 13WMAZ's Sitarah Coote that she heard eight to 10 gunshots around 3 a.m. Thursday. She said deputies checked out the neighborhood, but found nothing.
Then, Davis said, a relative found the bodies around 11 a.m. Friday.
