A Macon man was treated at Coliseum Northside hospital Thursday after he accidentally shot himself in the penis.
The man was parked at the gas station at about 9:30 p.m. when he attempted to holster his .45. Immediately after the gun went off, he drove to a friend's house in Lake Wildwood. When he got to the friends house, he took off his pants and saw that he had "shot himself in the penis and that the bullet exited out of his buttocks." The spent round fell onto the floor.
The man's friend drove him to Coliseum Northside hospital and he was then transferred to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Incident type: Speeding, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, possession of schedule II drugs
A deputy on patrol clocked a yellow Camaro at 105 mph at about 3:45 a.m. When he tried to pull the car over, the driver hit speeds in excess of 150 mph. As the pursuit approached the Hartley Bridge Road exit, the driver pulled over. The male driver and female passenger were taken out of the car and placed on the ground. The driver's daughter and her friend were also in the backseat. A deputy searched the female passenger's purse and found a sunglasses case containing crack cocaine.

Location: 7500 block Hawkinsville Road
Incident type: Aggravated assault
A deputy was dispatched to the location at around midnight in reference to a person down. When he arrived, he found a man bleeding from his head and face. The victim told the deputy that another man knocked on his door and when he opened it, the man hit him in the head with a steel pipe. When the victim fell, the man continued to hit him on the back of his head. A warrant was issued for the suspect.

Location: 300 block Cynthia Avenue
Incident type: Criminal damage of property, aggravated assault
A deputy was dispatched to the location in response to shots fired at about 3:46 a.m. When units arrived, a witness told them he heard gun shots. Deputies closed the street located near the Houston Road intersection and counted about 38 shell casings on the ground. Several vehicles were shot and one person was injured. No arrests were made.
