The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened Tuesday morning at a Flash Foods convenience store in Macon.

Witnesses say two male suspects armed with handguns entered the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue around 1:40 a.m., according to a news release.

The suspects demanded money from the cash register, and then left the store headed toward Dewey Street with the money.

No one was hurt.

Both suspects were described as tall, slender men.

One suspect was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt with dark pants, white shoes, white gloves, and a black mask.

The other suspect was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, dark pants, white gloves, and also wore a black mask.
