Autopsy: Teen's shooting death was accidental | News
Bibb County's coroner says a Macon teenager's death Tuesday morning was accidental.
That's according to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
He said Wednesday's autopsy for Antrez Felder said he died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Felder, a 16-year-old Southwest High School student, died around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at a Macon housing complex.
According to the Macon-Bibb Sheriff's Office, he was found with one gunshot wound to the head inside a home on Bobby Jones Lane, near Nesbit Drive.
Some family members told 13WMAZ that they believe the shooting was an accident that happened as Felder pushed the gun under his mattress.
