Member of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a woman accused of robbing Family Dollar on Rocky Creek Road in May.
The task force received a tip that led them to Shelia Ann Martin, 43. She was located at a family member's house in Jackson at about 9:45 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Martin is accused of robbing Family Dollar on May 22.
Authorities said she approached the register and demanded money from the store clerk, claiming to have a handgun in her pocket. She got into a fight with the clerk and assistant manager. The employees sustained minor injuries in the struggle.
Martin is being held at the Bibb County Sheriff's Office charged with armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault.
