Hutchings II; Annie Mae Leonard Mitcham; Charles Lynwood Jones; Tanya Goosby Allen; Ed Defore Sr.; Rev. Walter L. Glover Jr.; and Brenda Cheri Cliette Thomas.
The EMARC is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping East Macon through awareness projects and neighborhood cleanups.
Treasurer Carlton Pitts says that everyone in the community has something to give. And that we should focus more on what we can give, instead of what we can get.
"I don't think you have to run all over the country to find economic opportunities, even though it may appear that way right now in this city. I think that we can start building one block at a time and we can achieve great things, as a individual and individual communities," said Pitts.
Bi-monthly meetings are held at the Rosa Jackson Community Center for people that want to volunteer.
