Police Say They Arrest Airman in Whiskey River Homicide | News

A senior airman stationed at Robins Air Force Base was arrested Friday and charged with fatally shooting a man at the Whiskey River nightclub a week ago, Macon police said.
A Macon Police news release says Steven J. Holsey of Warner Robins was arrested there by Macon police and the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. The release said Holsey was stationed at the base and lived nearby on Mandolin Drive.
Witnesses said the attacker drove off in a Toyota Camry.
Harris was pronounced dead at the Medical Center of Central Georgia a short time later.
Witnesses said the victim and his attacker had an argument on the dance floor before the shooting.
Holsey was held on murder charges Friday night at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
His car was impounded and taken to the Macon police crime lab.
