Henley Tees Off At "Q" School

Lastly In 2012 Russell Henley will begin the next chapter of his golf career, as a full-time professional.

It's just a matter of where he'll play.

This week will help decide that.

Henley is in Panama City, Florida for the 2nd Stage of PGA Tour Q School.

He is one of 78 golfers at the Hombre Golf Club, vying for spots in the final stage.

"Q school" can be a pressure packed environment for PGA hopefuls looking to earn their tour card but Henley is feeling a little less pressure.

His win at the Stadion Classic in May earned him a full exemption to Nationwide Tour events in 2012.

The 2-time U.S. Open competitor wants to play with the best, but is glad to have a good backup plan.

That plan begins Wednesday morning as he tees off in the first round of this phase of Qualifying School.
