Famliy Walks to Remember Life of Loved One | News
Family and friends gathered on Saturday to remember the life of Yvonne Jackson.
The 40-year-old died from a gunshot wound to the head in March and authorities believe her killer set the apartment on fire. Her body was found inside the bedroom of the scorched building.
Jackson's mother and several other family members met for a memory walk on Patterson street Saturday morning. It's the same street where Jackson was shot. The group walked from one end of the street to the other.
Police are still searching for Jackson's killer. Her mother says she remains hopeful that someone will come forward with information.
"I feel in my heart and in my soul that someone is going to come forward cause God don't do nothing wrong," said Ruby Mosely, Jackson's mother.
If you have any information about Jackson's death, you can call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68-CRIME.
