Macon Touchdown Club Hands Out Weekly Awards | News
The Macon Touchdown Club gathered for its first meeting of the season Monday night at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth. The club handed out weekly awards for high school football players in Bibb County.
Winners for the week of August 31:
Back of the Week- Scott McCormick (FPD wide receiver)
Lineman of the Week- Tyler Ward (Tattnall defensive lineman)
Special Teams Player of the Week- Kimball McGee (Westside)
Winners for the week of September 7:
Back of the Week- Noah Grayer (Westside quarterback)
Lineman of the Week- Will Black (FPD linebacker)
Special Teams Player of the Week- Tyler Hill (Tattnall punter)
Rutland High School was the featured school of the night. Georgia Southern head coach Jeff Monken also spoke about his team and the program as a whole.
