X-Mart Adult Store Robbed Again
An east Bibb County "adult store" was robbed for at least the 10th time in less than four years Wednesday.
The latest robbery that happened between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. at the Emery Highway location in Macon.
A news release from the sheriff's department says a man dressed in black entered the store, pointed a .22-caliber handgun at two clerks and demanded money.
The man, who wore a mask and gloves, ran off and the clerks could not describe his vehicle.
Since November 2008, the adult business has been robbed 10 times, not including an attempted robbery in April 2010.
Most recently, X-Mart was robbed on Aug. 19 and again Sept. 13.
