Howard's Cape Steps Down
David Cape resigned as head football coach at Howard High School on Tuesday.
That's according to Bibb County Athletic Director Eddie Ashley.
The Huskies lost to Perry last Friday to complete an 0-10 season. The Huskies went 0-20 in Cape's two seasons as head coach but Ashley still praised Cape's work ethic.
"He was a good role model and he believed in doing things the right way" said Ashley.
Cape succeeded Bobby Hughes who left to take another coaching job after the 2010 season.
