The Howard Huskies boast another student athlete to ink a deal at the next level.
Jamila Mayfield, a 6-4 basketball player from will run fast breaks in Atlanta at Georgia State. The senior's size and rebounding skills helped Coach Latavia Coleman and the Lady Huskies reach the playoffs last season with an 18-11 record.
Mayfield plans to major in physical therapy.
