Fire Damages Bibb County Apartment
Fire damaged a two-story garage apartment in Bibb County Thursday evening.
Firefighters had to block off Highway 247 as they pulled hoses from their fire engines across the road.
The building, located at 6040 Andrea Road, suffered mostly smoke damage.
Macon Bibb Fire Captain Kenneth Nobles says everyone inside got out safely.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
