Macon-Bibb Animal Shelter Will Open Saturdays | News
Add Saturdays to the days to adopt or reclaim pets at the Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare facility.
In a news release, the Bibb County Commissioners said Animal Welfare will be open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays, to adopt or reclaim pets only.
Regular hours for adoptions, transfers to rescue groups, redemptions, animal drop off and other walk-in business are from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
The facility is closed on Sunday, Monday and Bibb County holidays.
The shelter is at 1010 Eleventh St. in Macon.
