South Macon Teen Shot While Walking Home

Macon Police are looking for three people they believe are involved in an aggravated assault.

According to a release from Macon Police spokesperson Jami Gaudet, a 17-year-old male told them he was shot in the buttocks and robbed while walking home Tuesday night about 11 p.m.

The teen told police while walking down Williamson Road, he saw a brownish-gold Ford Taurus circling the area, then heard a gunshot.

Later three black males dressed in black hoodies approached him.  He heard a second shot and felt his left side go numb. Then the trio demanded money and took his book bag. The victim told police that the Taurus then drove by again and picked up the three.

The victim walked home, but was then taken by ambulance to the Medical Center for treatment.
