Northeast Students Attend Science Seminar at Georgia Aquarium | News
Fifty Northeast High School students visited the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta this fall to attend a "Matchmaking with Marine Animals" seminar.
The program discussed the science of genetics and animal management. Northeast students learned the many ways marine populations are managed in zoological settings.
They also learned how traits are passed on from parent to child through genes and chromosomes, which are made up of DNA. Students also enjoyed the Dolphin Show and movie while at the Georgia Aquarium.
