Macon Third-Graders Sing Carol in Mandarin | News
A group of third-grade students from Rice Elementary School in Macon held their annual book fair and poetry café. As part of this event, the students sang, for the first time, "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" in Mandarin Chinese.
The students have been learning Mandarin Chinese as part of Bibb School superintendent Romain Dallemand's 'Macon Miracle' plan, instituted at the beginning of the 2012 school year.
