13WMAZ Engineer Celebrates 40 Years with the Station | News

With the economic climate continuing to be chilly, most folks are just happy to have whatever job they can get. 

But 13WMAZ engineer Harold Gantt is so good at his job, he's had it for 40 years. 

That means that Harold has worked for the station longer than we've been in our current home. 

And he's seen every major technological change in broadcast news as the industry transitioned from video tape to digital. 

Every step along the way, he's learned how to adapt.

His greatest gift, however, might just be the cheer he brings to work everyday, brightening every room he enters and finding new ways to keep people smiling.

Thank you, Harold, for all the good times over these 40 great years!
