News

Bibb County deputies say they arrested two people Monday morning after receiving a call about car break-ins at the Value Place Inn on Harrison Road.

According a Bibb County Sheriff's news release, a guest at the motel told them he saw two people who appeared to be breaking into cars. The caller described the suspects and told deputies they were at the back of the motel.

The deputies searched the parking lot and found several cars had been burglarized. They found the suspects in a stolen vehicle parked in the motel parking lot.  Investigators say they also found evidence linking the two to the car burglaries.

Quanterio Zurell Moses, 17, and a 16-year-old are charged with entering auto, theft by taking and possession of tools for the commission of crime.  Moses is being held at the Bibb County jail. The 16-year-old was taken to the Macon Youth Development Center.
