Bridal Show Brings out Dozens of Central Georgians
News

It was bridal mania. From engaged couples to curious individuals, dozens of central Georgians showed up at the Blacksmith Shop off Poplar Street to see what goodies they can snatch.

"We're new to the Georgia area so we thought this would be a great opportunity to check out vendors that are around," says Michelle Brechtel from Byron. "Anything make our wedding special and perfect."

Macon's Wedding Ring hosted the event to showcase about twenty different vendors that help making a wedding possible.

For some brides, this makes the experience real.

"The anxiety is just really picking up," says Mekayla Ivery who was there with her fiancee Terrence Murphy of Macon.

"I've never been married before, so me, just proposing to her was a big deal for me. Now that i'm getting in depth in out engagement," Murphy says. "It's overwhelming. I didn't know it takes this much."
