Howard Husky Makes College Choice | News

Senior centerfielder Craig Breland put his college choice on paper Tuesday.  The Howard Husky will play baseball at Andrew College next Spring.

"He's a good all-around player with a lot of speed," said Howard baseball coach Danny Slaughter.  "We're real excited for the opportunity he has to go to Andrew and play baseball and I think he'll do well."

Breland said he chose Andrew College because of the good academics and small class size.

Since 2005, 47 of Andrew's baseball players have gone on to four-year schools.  Four were selected in the MLB Draft.
