Back City Woods Performs on Weekend Mornin' | News
Macon based band Back City Woods dropped in Sunday to promote their new EP "Around The Bend."
The recording is the second for the band, which started in 2009 by Daniel NeSmith and Michael Collins. The group's sound is described as "Americana music with a renewed twist."
Back City Woods will soon begin playing shows with other musical acts Drive-By-Truckers, Drivin' N' Cryin', and The Modern Skirts. The release party for "Around The Bend" will be on February 1st at the Hummingbird.
They'll perform one of the songs from their new CD, coming up during the 8:30 a.m. half hour of Weekend Mornin'.
