Molotov Cocktail Thrown on South Macon Porch | News
Fire investigators say a south Macon resident had a device thrown onto his front porch this morning. Sgt. Ben Gleaton said, "it would fit the general description of a Molotov cocktail."
By phone, Gleaton said, "When the man heard a noise around 5:30, he looked on his front porch and saw a burning bottle with a rag in it."
The man told firefighters he kicked the bottle off the porch and then called 911. Gleaton said the fire was extinguished when the first responders arrived.
Gleaton said no one was injured and there was only minor damage.
