Car Accident on I-16 Temporarily Slows Traffic
Macon Police Dispatch confirms an accident on I-16 partially blocked westbound traffic for about a half hour around 11 p.m. Friday night.
It happened near mile marker 5, inside Macon city limits.
An operator with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says deputies assisted with traffic. As of 11:30 p.m., all lanes were cleared.
No further information is available on injuries or the number of cars involved.
