In the Mercer men's locker room, coach Bob Hoffman spoke to his team about Wednesday night's game against 8th seeded Lipscomb.
He told the players to stick to their principles. He stressed to his players to maintain a balanced approach as they have done all year.
After starting an analogy about homemade stew, Hoffman said that they are at home and "They gotta get that stew, baby."
Mercer won the A-Sun regular season title and is the top-seed in the tournament.
