A Macon woman died Thursday night after a three-car accident on Eisenhower Parkway.
It happened near Fulton Mill Road.
Lt. Sean Defoe, spokesman for the Bibb Sheriff's Office, said 61-year-old Patsy Nicholas was trying to merge into the path of an oncoming car.
The vehicles collided, spinning one car off the road. Nicholas' car was then hit by a pickup truck pulling a trailer.
Nicholas was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The other car driver, 50-year-old Linda Jordan of Reynolds, is hospitalized but is said to be stable, according to Defoe; 39-year-old Christopher Carmichael of Fort Valley, who was driving the truck, was treated at the scene and released.
