Modena May Run for Seat in Consolidated Government | Politics
With only a few days left in his final term in office, Bibb County Sheriff Jerry Modena joined Kenny Burgamy in the 13WMAZ studio.
Modena says he's still considering whether to run for office again, dependent on his wife's clearance, he joked.
When asked specifically about a seat with the consolidated Macon-Bibb government, his answer was short and to the point:
He also shared his thoughts on the 2006 murder of deputy Joseph Whitehead, who was killed carrying out a drug raid.
Here are two excerpts from the interview.
