The Power of 100

Participants in the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement’s Power of 100 (P-100) were recognized at the April Board of Education Meeting.

“I was extremely proud to work with such a great group of educators,” Director of Special Education Donna Poole told the Board and community.

Participants included Burdell-Hunt Magnet Principal Tanya Allen, Jones Elementary Principal Dr. Keela Malone, Union Principal Emanuel Frazier, Williams Elementary Principal Dr. Shandrina Griffin-Stewart, and Hutchings Career Center Principal Dr. Russ Chesser. The Lead District Representatives were Miller Middle Principal Dr. Sherri Flagg and Director of Special Education Donna Poole. Coaches were Ballard-Hudson Middle Principal Dr. Benjy Morgan and Director of Professional Development Dr. Judy Godfrey.

“The process really allowed us to collaborate,” said Mr. Frazier. “We were able to learn from each other and from educators around the state.”
