Second Group of New Junior Journalists Introduced

Our 13WMAZ "surprise squad" took to the streets again Tuesday, to find more of our new junior journalists.

Kenny Burgamy tracked down Malik Bryant at Thomson Middle School in Centerville, and told him the good news.

Then, the crew went to Josh Barker's home in Macon.  He learned that he made the cut while in the middle of a homeschool lesson.

Hayden Nichols, a student at Springdale Elementary School in Macon, was surprised while eating lunch at a nearby McDonald's.

All three junior journalists say they're excited and ready for their first assignment.  They'll have a chance to train with 13WMAZ reporters, and cover "My Teacher is Tops," and other stories, on air for the next 2 years.

There are four new junior journalist spots left to fill.  The "surprise squad" will set out to find the last group on Wednesday.
