Heard Family Literacy Night, Book Fair Kickoff | Schools
Heard Elementary School hosted about 250 guests during the school's first Family Literacy Night and Book Fair Kickoff Celebration on Thursday, November 8.
The highlight of the evening was story time with featured story teller Janice Habersham, the District's 2012-2013 Media Specialist of the Year. Festivities included a make-and-take craft for students and parent literacy activities.
Students were encouraged to wear their pajamas to add a playful atmosphere to the evening.
