Dallemand: Not Interested in FAMU Presidency | Schools

Bibb schools superintendent Romain Dallemand said rumors that he's considering a presidency at Florida A&M University are incorrect.

Earlier this week, the Rattler Nation blog, which covers news at Florida A&M, reported that "there are efforts underway" to promote Dallemand as the university's new president.

Dallemand said Friday afternoon he has not applied for the job, and he's not interested in it. He said he was "extremely surprised and shocked" about the blog report.

The blog did not cite any sources for that report and the blogger -- "The Big Rattler" -- did not respond to an inquiry via Facebook.
