Bibb School Employees Get Lesson on Macon Promise Neighborhood Reports | Schools

In a series of meeting closed to the media, Superintendent Romain Dallemand gave district employees a presentation and documents that help outline the school district's relationship with the Macon Promise Neighborhood Initiative.

The district released a statement about the meetings that reads, in part, "Due to a large amount of misinformation regarding the School District's participation in the Macon Promise Neighborhood Initiative, the meetings were designed to eliminate further confusion caused by inaccurate information that has been circulating in the media."

The meetings were held with principals, assistant principals, directors and central office staff.

The district plans to post the documents handed out during the meeting on their website.
