Griffin-Ziebart 'Excited' About Serving as Acting Supt. | Schools

Bibb County's new acting school superintendent says she was surprised and disappointed by Romain Dallemand's departure.

Susanne Griffin-Ziebart met with reporters Friday.

The school board appointed her to fill the position Thursday night, three days after they bought out Dallemand's contract.

She worked for Dallemand in the Rochester, MN school system and followed him here in 2011.

She would not say whether she plans to stay on now that Dallemand has left.

But she said she'd consider taking the job if asked.
