Spring has sprung and it’s a wonderful time to get rid of clutter and start fresh. 

 

Join us for the entire month of April for the Spring Fling, a 30 day decluttering challenge. Every day we will be sorting, discarding and flinging items and ideas from a wide variety of areas of our homes and lives.  You can pick and choose which flings you would like do. You can do them every day or do them at your own pace. It’s all up to you!

  • Match your plastic storage container bottoms with tops. Then toss or recycle the singletons and restock the rest neatly in your cupboard.
  • Grab plastic shopping bag and spend 2 minutes emptying the trash from your car including the french fries and straw wrappers under the seats.
  • Make a quick sweep of your bathroom and shower area and throw out any hair and beauty products you just don’t use. Be honest.

Cinderella's Wish List Dress Sale

The Bibb County School District's Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Department will host its third annual Cinderella’s Wish List Dress and Accessories Sale this month.

The Cinderella's Wish List Dress and Accessories Sale features new or gently used prom dresses and accessories for sale at a discounted cost. The sale begins Thursday and Friday, March 5-6, from 4-7 p.m. and continues Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event will be held at the Welcome Center Annex next to Hutchings College and Career Academy, at 2007-F Riverside Drive in Macon. All high school girls are invited to attend.

The CTAE Department is hosting the event to raise funds for the 2015 CTAE Student of the Year Scholarship fund.

Currently, the CTAE Department presents a scholarship to the Bibb County CTAE Student of the Year, as well as to the first- and second-place runners-up.

Sheridan & Co.
