Professional Organizer Andi Willis: Glad To Meet You

Professional Organizer Andi Willis: Glad To Meet You

The essential nature of my job is very, very personal. I am literally in people’s underwear drawers on a regular basis. (Color me thankful when a client once told me I didn’t need to organize her box of sex toys. Yikes!) When I organize and scan client’s precious family photos, they are often letting me into the most intimate moments of their lives, including random shots of husbands napping in their undies and children running around in the sprinklers in their birthday suits.

I don’t know about you, but I spend a lot of time in my car; driving to work, hauling the kids around, running errands, and so on and so forth.  For me having a clean, organized car makes it all just little less stressful.

Commission making way for Brewpubs

Macon-Bibb is getting its first-ever brewpubs (Piedmont Brewing and Ocmulgee Brewpub), and the Commission updates its Code of Ordinances so they could operate. Details on licensing and fees can be found be by copying and pasting this link into your browser: http://www.boarddocs.com/ga/maconbibb/Board.nsf/files/AAKLVB52A67C/$file/6-7-2016 - Ord Amending Ch 4 of Code to Provide for Brewpubs.pdf.

“Part of revitalizing Downtown Macon-Bibb is to make it easier for new businesses to open and thrive,” says Mayor Robert Reichert. “With the national trend of people looking for ways to enjoy locally made craft beer and the success of the our first local brewery, the Macon Beer Company, it’s only natural that we make sure businesses like Piedmont Brewing and Ocmulgee Brewpub have a place in our community.”

Macon-Bibb nationally ranked for customer service in March

In March, Macon-Bibb was ranked second in the country for total issues resolved for cities with 150,000 or more people. More than 2,100 issues were resolved, and the only city to have more was Detroit, MI.

This is very impressive considering Detroit has more than four times Macon-Bibb’s population but only closed abut 600 more issues. With its much larger population, Detroit only closed one issue for every 167 people, while Macon-Bibb closed one issue for every 45 residents.

Since these monthly rankings began in July 2015, Macon-Bibb has been in the Top 10 all but one month. For all of 2015, we ranked #8 with more than 14,000 issues resolved.
