Macon State Football Club to Play Columbus State

 

The Macon State football club (currently 4th in National Club Football Association rankings) takes on the Columbus State University club at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Ed DeFore Stadium in Macon. The Blue Storm is 4-1 on the season.

Admission is $3 for students with ID, $5 for the general public. Kids ages 10 and younger get in free. Concessions will be available.

Macon State Football Club Takes on Fla. Christian Prep This Saturday

The Macon State College football club will take on Florida Christian Prep at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Ed DeFore Stadium,  2851 Heath Road. General admission is $5 per person, $3 for students with ID. Kids 10 and younger get in free. Concessions will be available.

Macon State’s football club, 2-1 for the season, is a member of the National Club Football Association. The season schedule is at http://bluestorm.maconstate.edu/?page_id=2068.

Lumberjack Day, Family Fun at The Rock Ranch

Fall is here and so is Lumberjack Day.

It's a day of chainsaw carving competitions, archery lessons for kids, and treetop zip lines.

This Saturday, you can see UGA, UF and Clemson compete in timber sports. They'll compete in events like the pole chop, pole climb, two man cross-cut saw, log chopping, rolling and burling as well as ax throwing.

Fall Fun Days has kicked off at The Rock Ranch in The Rock, Ga. outside of Forsyth and Macon.

Roberson Excited About Coaching at Westside

Westside High School's new girls varsity basketball head coach, Candice Y. Roberson, understands the struggles of balancing a rigorous academic workload while accumulating points on the basketball court.
