MGSC wins South Atlantic Conference football title

Middle Georgia State College capped a perfect 11-0 club football season Saturday by winning the South Atlantic Conference title 26-24 over Orangeburg County Tech in Cochran.  Ken Hughes, who took over at quarterback when Kion Button went out with a shoulder injury, was 7 of 16 for 130 yards and a touchdown.  He also had 40 yards on 11 carries as well as five tackles.

MGSC will play for the NCFA (National Club Football Association) title December 7 in Salem, VA.

MGSC Club Football to Play at Royal Stadium

The Middle Georgia State College Club Football team will have a home game at BCHS Royal Stadium October 19 when the Knights host Columbus State. 

Tailgating starts at 11 am with kickoff at 1 pm.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink for breast cancer awareness. 

Admission is $5, children ten and under as well as MGSC faculty, staff, and students get in free with ID.

Mercer University faces off in their second football game of the season Saturday against Warner University Royals.

Tickets left are for berm seating and standing room only. 

Kick off is at 6 p.m. at Mercer.
