Georgia Kayak Brings New Kind of Retail to Macon

Georgia Kayak Brings New Kind of Retail to Macon

Macon, GA --  Georgia Kayak celebrates its grand opening on Tuesday, October 4 at 3 p.m. at 487 Second Street.

That's according to a Main Street Macon news release.

Josh Howell loves getting on the river about 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning and spending a lazy day swimming, kayaking and enjoying the great outdoors.  So an outdoor outfitter business was a perfect extension for his professional life.  Howell says, “Downtown Macon was a natural location because of the proximity of the Ocmulgee River and the Riverwalk.  I want people to experience the river and not forget all of the beautiful natural resources we have in Middle Georgia.”  He has a working relationship with Ocmulgee Expeditions owners Brian and Stephen Adams to further enhance what they are offering with their river trips.
