Although it was a pretty lopsided defeat - Macon State lost to Greenville Sports Academy 40-0 - the Blue Storm played hard and showed a lot of potential.

This is Macon State's first foray into organized football. The football club is a member of the National Club Football Association. Next home game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Ed DeFore Stadium.

Macon State will take on Florida Christian Prep Academy.
