Marchers talk about life, legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On January 18, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission, Macon-Bibb County, churches, and other organizations hosted the annual March to celebrate the life and legacy of the civil rights leader. Beginning at the Booker T. Washington Community Center, Rosa Jackson Community Center, Frank Johnson Recreation Center, and Memorial Gymnasium, people from all over the community marched to Government Center in Downtown.

That day’s events and what it means to the community as told by the men, women, and children that participated are featured by MaconBibbTV in a new video that can be watched by clicking here.
